Serbia, Monaco and Egypt are just few of the places Niki Bozionelou visited in the past couple of years as a travel blogger. She says she is a proud Greek, a food lover and a Rottweiler mama. Besides that her pictures always make me want to book a flight somewhere. 🙂 Hope you’ll enjoy my eighth interview!
Lady Fraise (LF): Where are you currently and what will be your next destination? Nikoza (N): I am currently in Greece, my home, preparing for my trip to Thailand in 10 days! I’m going to Phuket and Phi Phi Islands.
LF: What is your favourite place in the whole world?
N: There are so many great places, I couldn’t possibly pick just one! Also I haven’t seen the whole world yet, so I might haven’t been to my favourite place yet! 😀
LF: What is the place you haven’t been yet then? 🙂
N: I have a wish for a while to visit Alaska, but keep postponing it for some reason.
LF: How did you become a travel blogger?
N: My husband was a basketball player and I couldn’t find a normal job because we were on the go all the time. So I figured that it would be a nice way to keep myself busy if I started writing about my trips.
LF: Can you make a living only from your Instagram account and your website?
N: Not yet. I can not support myself by just being a blogger, but I’m getting there!
LF: What do you think you can learn from travelling?
N: Oh too much! How to be more patient, how to enjoy every single moment, how to be more tolerant and more independent… Travelling teaches you a great deal of things!
LF: Do you think you’ll ever get bored of it?
N: No, not really.
LF: What would you advise to other people who also want to become travel bloggers?
N: To be prepared for a lot of work and investment. Also they need to know that success doesn’t come overnight and they need to be persistent and ready to fail 100 times before they make it.
LF: What are your plans for the future?
N: I want to grow my family at some point! So Alex and I are flirting with the idea of having a kid. Not sure when, but sometime in the future.
LF: Wishing you a nice journey to Thailand, Niki and hope you’ll get to see Alaska soon! 🙂
