‘So, from our family to yours, keep your pants dry, your dreams wet, and remember, hugs not drugs.’ /Deadpool/
What is this movie about?
After Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) loses his love he takes a vengeance on the criminals, but he still feels guilty about it, so he blows himself off. (Yes, these are the happenings of the first 15 minutes.) For recreation he is taken to the X-men residency where he is becoming an intern. He meets a troubled mutant teenager Firefist. And I don’t want to say more.
What did I like about this movie?
First of it’s a classic Ryan Reynolds humor movie, that means 2 hours of laughter. It also has a take home message about friendship, decisions that change determine your future and what it means to be a part of a community. I also like the fact that this superhero movie doesn’t take itself seriously and makes a caricature of the whole genre. You can meet other characters (mainly from X-men) and notice many references to current things going on in the world.
Make sure not to go away right after it ends or you will miss the best joke about Green Lantern!
What would I recommend to the movie?
Don’t bring someone who can easily become bothered with swear-words. Take a friend who likes superhero movies and is tired of his or her job and just want to relax for 2 hours.
And to end this post let us stop for a moment and take a look at Ryan Reynolds wife, Blake Lively, supporting him in a Deadpool coloured dress at the premiere. It’s simply couple goals! 🙂
Please, women at home, never forget it takes a bus full of people to make us look bangin’ for red carpets. Thank you to my 🚌: @kristoferbuckle @rodortega4hair @enamelle @ofirajewelz @lorraineschwartz @brandonmaxwell @judithleiberny @louboutinworld @chanelofficial @jacquieaiche @ronacolor (AND to @sophia.travaglia and @serafinosays for squeezing my ribs into my dress.) …And you thought I was exaggerating with the whole “bus” thing. 😆😊
