My beauty habits

Sleeping
‘Come on, dude, I’m exhausted and Tyra Banks says the most important item in your makeup bag is a good night’s sleep.’ – said Rajesh Koothrappali in an episode of the Big Bang Theory and I couldn’t agree more. I sleep at least 7 hours every day and I always let myself sleep as long as I can on weekends. No alarm clocks allowed those days.

Eating ang drinking
I noticed that when I eat a certain amount of nuts, my skin has little red spots on my face the next day, so I try to avoid them. I also try to eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. Justine Leconte said a French person eats 12 pieces of them a day, I’m far from that but on my way to achieve that goal.
At least 2 liters of water is necessary to drink every single day. In summer, when I sweat a lot, it can go up to 3 liters. Sometimes I put lemon into my water for it to be even more refreshing. I drink 4 deciliters of green tea in the morning and I love making smoothies, because they only contain fruit and water. No soft drinks, fizzy drinks or coffee.

Training
Unfortunately this part hasn’t gone so so well this year, because in the first part of it I had 3 jobs at a time. When 2 of them finally ended, I started learning how to drive a car and it takes up a lot of my time, because I try to finish it as soon as possible. A year before these I went to my favourite training facility where I attended many different classes, zumba, pilates, spinracing and aerobic. I miss spinracing the most… After an hour you feel invincible. Can’t wait to get back on the bike when I’m finished.

Skincare
Every morning when I wake up, I wash my face with cold water. It may sound harsh, but it wakes me up and it’s very refreshing. After drying my face with a clean towel, I use a cream called Love Nature Gel Cream that contains aloe vera from Oriflame, because it hydrates my skin well. When I take a shower, I always wash my face with a simple soap to clean my pores. After that I put on the same cream I used in the morning. Twice a week I use Garnier’s Pure Active Exfobrusher. For other parts of my body I use Nivea Care Intensive Pflege. I have to take special care of my hands because I have to sterilize it many times a day, so before I fall asleep I put Nivea Creme on my hands. In the summer, I use La Roche-Posay sunscreen that has 50 sun protection factor.

Make-up
I’m lucky, because I never have to use foundation on my skin. I only use Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara from Maybelline to highlight my eyes a bit more and Labello Original on my lips. I use Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water to remove my mascara every day. I only wear real make-up on special events such as wedding. In these cases I use creditable products. I recently grew to like L’Oreál rouges.

Nailpolish
Every year when sandal weather kicks in, I paint my nails red to flash my toes to the world. I never use polish on my nails because it’s forbidden in health care.

Perfume
I’m very serious about having a signature scent that I use for months or even years. I take great interest in choosing that special perfume for myself and use the bottle until it gets empty, never mixing scents from day to day. I currently use Bright Crystal Absolu from Versace.

Haircare
I use a special shampoo that contains herbs and does not contain Paraben. It’s a Hungarian brand called Bánfi Sampon and I use the one that stops hair loss.

Addictions
There are some very bad habits that are not only terrible for your health but they destroy natural beauty at maximum speed. Smoking, alcohol or the regular use of solariums are forbidden.

Hygge
My phylosophy is that if you feel good inside that will have signs on the outside. Surrounding yourself with great people, having a hobby, and a happy life is the most important to shine bright like a diamond.
