My fashion dreams

When I go shopping or pack for a vacation I always make lists not to forget anything. And sometimes I make lists of things that I truly wish for. Just like other fashion enthusiasts I have fabulous things in my imaginary closet. But what are the most desired things I want to own or do that are related to fashion?

First of course I once would love to go to the Fashion Week in Paris.

I would love to wear an haute couture dress such as this one from Dior…:

… and wear the perfect Manolo Blahnik’s to the dress:

There is never enough of shoes, bags and accessories, so I would have a pair of shoes from Hungarian designer, Reka Vago:

I would love to have quality luggage from Louis Vuitton:

I would love to have a classic Burberry scarf…:

… a Birkin Bag from Hermés…:

… a tweed jacket from Chanel…:

… and the perfect black dress from Givenchy:

This list may seem to much or just a cliché, but I think there shouldn’t be excuses for what we wish to wear, because it expresses who we really are.

Alice Wonder’s Parisian diaries

How does French people handle bureaucracy?
Is it true that Parisian women are the most stylish?
How Parisian people live their everyday lives?

You can find the aswers to all these question in Alice Wonder’s travelling novels. She is actually a Hungarian writer who uses a stage name for publishing. Her novels start when she was 31-years-old, fell  in love with a man and decided to move to the City of Love, Paris. After 9 years in Paris she and her husband decided to move to another country because of work issues. They chose Italy and a whole new chapter in their life started.

Alice Wonder’s novels:
1. Champs-Él…izé (Champs Élysées)
2. Párizsi napló (Parisian diary)
3. Párizs, c’est la vie! (Paris, c’est la vie!)
4. Ciao Itália! (Ciao, Italy!)
(Unfortunatelly the books only exist so far in Hungarian.)

What did I like about these books?
I really liked the writer’s funny style, the way she writes about how she stayed calm even in challenging situations.
I recommend the books to people who are moving to Paris and want to find out more about expat life. Or just like me have a platonic love for the French capital.

Things that would be awesome to happen

When your life is pretty great, it seems stupid and ungrateful to wish for even more. So instead of making a bucket list, I made a list of all the things that would be fantastic to happen. Maybe none of them will, but if only one does, I’ll be astonished.

  1. To have my own photography exhibition (If you are a regular reader of my blog, you won’t need an explanation. If you are new here, it’s time for you to read more! :D)
  2. To synchronize someone in a movie (Many people told me during my life that I have a unique voice, and I try to think they said the truth.)
  3. To learn how to play the piano (Piano has the most beautiful sound of all musical instruments for me.)
  4. To ride a Vespa (Hopefully in Santorini!)
  5. And to ride a jetski (To feel like I’m one of Charlie’s angels, of course!)
  6. To meet someone who is famous all over the world (I mean, someone extremely famous, like Colin Firth or someone from the Big Bang Theory.)
  7. To swin with dolphins (I may have to learn how to swim first… or not. I hear these professional dolphins can take care of anything.)
  8. To hug a pug (Pugs are the kings of animals. If you think otherwise, maybe you should reconsider your whole life…)
  9. To see all of Audrey Hepburn’s movies (Audrey Hepburn is my icon in many ways. I admire her style and her aura, her acting talent, and how nice she was to other people. I watched all her movies I could find but I’m unfortunately not finished with them.)
  10. To visit Paris, Santorini, Indonesia and Japan (These are my top dream destinations, but I have so many of them, that I think they deserve their own blog post.)
