This ain’t no typo! Because today I’m sharing my lime version of lemonade with you for the last days of this hot summer.

– 0,5 l water (cold or put some icecubes in the mixture)
– juice of half a lemon
-a teaspoon of brown sugar

What to do next?
Mix all of these together and enjoy your drink!

I like this recipe very much because it’s more special than regular lemonade. At the end this mixture will have a cocktail-kind of taste without alcohol. You get a great amount of vitamin C and a refreshing drink. What else would you need?

Legend says that once upon a time a headless cook forgot to add baking-powder into the chocolate cake. And that is how brownie was born in the XIX. century. They are most popular in America and they are often served with vanilla flavoured ice cream or whipped cream.

My recipe is from a Hungarian presenter, Judit Stahl who also has books about cooking. (Click here for her website!)

– 10 dkg plain chocolate
– 10 dkg flour
– 10 dkg sugar
– 2 dkg cocoa powder (that does not contain added sugar!)
– 0,5 teaspoon of baking powder
– 2 teaspoon of Nescafe
– 2 eggs
– 1 dl oil
– a handful of walnut
– 1 teaspoon of butter

What to do next?
Prepare your oven for 175 degrees and grab a cake/pie form and cover it with butter. Then cut all the chocolate and the walnuts into small pieces. Mit the chocolate, the flour, the sugar, the cocoa and the baking powder into a bowl. Grab an other bowl and mix the oil, the the eggs and the Nescafe in it. After mixing the two bowls, pour the whole thing into the cake form and bake it for 18-20 minutes.

Three ingredient pancake

What happens if you are craving for something sweet but have no time to make anything?
What happens if you are on a diet but still… pancakes?

I have a simple solution for you.

These are the ingredients of this very healthy, sweet and very fast to make pancake recipe:
– 2 eggs
– 1 banana
– 1 pinch of cinnamon

Mix all the ingredients together, make sure to smash all the banana pieces. Then put some oil into a frying pan and a small portion of the mixutre into that. Your pancake’s diameter shouldn’t be more than 7-8 cms. It gets ready very quick, so be careful. Bake both sides of the pancakes and you can eat it with whathever you want (jam, Nutella, chocolate sauce, fruit, honey). The recipe will be enough for 3 small pancakes.

Banana shake

Banana, ooh na na… Sorry, I just can’t get that song out of my head! Here is my banana shake recipe that only requires 3 ingredients!

– 2 bananas
– 0.5 l milk
– 2 teaspoons of honey

What to do next?
Cut the bananas into 1 cm pieces, than put everything in the blender. Told you it’s super easy!

Why is this banana shake great?
– since bananas contains a lot of calories compared to other fruit, it is a great choice for a healthy breakfast that will last for hours
– it only contains 3 ingredients, all of which are healthy
– it’s a great substitution for eating sweets

Smoothies for president!

In the last couple of years I’ve became very fond of these super yummi and healthy drinks. Although I’m making them quite often at home, smoothie heaven can be found at Mercato La Boqueria in Barcelona. Coconut, mint, watermelon are just few of the flavours I tried. They were very refreshing in hot summer days and I hope I’ll come back someday for more.

Here is my personal favourite (and super easy) smoothie recipe:

– 1 apple
– 1 orange
– a handful of red berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc.)
– juice of half a lemon
– 2 dl water or some ice cubes if it’s summer

What to do next?
Wash and peel all the ingredients, and cut them into 2-3 cm peaces. Then put all of them into a blender and mix them for 30 seconds.
Yep, and that is all! Amazing, isn’t it?

Why are smoothies great?
– they are made of natural ingedrients, that means they are rich of antioxidants, vitamins and fibers
– you don’t need sugar or honey to make it sweeter
– they are great if you want to lose weight, train or just want to lead a healthy life
– lactose intolerant people can drink them as well unlike shakes
– it’s easier to drink this amount of fruit or vegetables than eating them separately

Super healthy and yummi garnish recipe

What you will need?
– 0.5 kg of potatoes/carrots/turnips/beetroots/sweet potatoes
– 1 coffee-spoon of salt
– 1 coffee-spoon of pepper
– 1 tablespoon of oil

How can you prepare it?
Prepare your oven for 200 degrees.
After cleaning and peeling all the vegetables, take a large bowl and put the salt, the pepper, the oil and the vegetables in it. Mix them well together.
Take a large frying pan and put baking parchment into it.
Roast it for 40 minutes. For checking out its readiness, stick a toothpick into the vegetables.

Why is it great?
You only need 4 ingredients and it is super easy to make.
It’s much healthier than real French fries.

My family’s exclusive gingerbread recipe

In the last couple of years I’ve became famous among friends and family members of my weird implementation of gingerbread. Besides making the usual Christmas things like snowmen, stars and boots, I always try to bring some fun to the holiday feasts. So I found some DIY ideas that seemed easy to make (they never are at the end!). That led to a series of gingerbread ninjas, Yoda, R2D2, a Batman sign and reindeers that everybody considered dogs. Although they were more sweet then pretty, there are some of my creations I’m actually proud of. For example I once made a 3D Christmas tree that looked particularly handsome, and I make little ladies holding hazelnut in their hands every year, they are my favourite. Whatever results I have after baking I can always say the effort comes from my heart. 

Here are the ingredients you need for the perfect, immediately soft gingerbread:
/for 3 pans of pastry/

  • 70 dkg flour
  • 20 dkg powdered sugar
  • 1 coffee-spoon of baking soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 sac of gingerbread spice mix
  • 20 dkg margarine
  • 5 tablespoon of honey

After procuring all these things here is what you need to do:

  1. Mix the powdered sugar with the margarine first, then add the flour and the baking soda.
  2. Add the gingerbread spice mix as well.
  3. Warm up the honey (but don’t boil it!) and add it to your paste.
  4. Mix everything well.
  5. Put it into the fridge for 2 hours.
  6. Extend the pastry till you get 3 mm thickness.
  7. And now let the madness of decoration begin! You can use walnuts, edible pearls, icing or even marzipan.
